Producing Characters
The Sophomore Class and Advanced Speech Class spent the winter and spring months preparing for their April 24 and 26 performances of The Adventures of Tom Sawyer. Mrs. Cris Brunson, speech teacher, and her mother, Sherri Hohneisen, have coached the students to grow in their speech and drama abilities. The play production and preparation has given the classes greater opportunity to strengthen character and reflect God-given abilities to advance the Kingdom of God.

Under the Garden Lights
Junior and Senior classes united for the annual FCS banquet in honor of the Senior class. The "Evening Under the Garden Lights" was hosted by Rolling Acre Farms in Asheboro. Mrs. Claire Baker, junior sponsor, led the junior class in preparing a "Senior Prophecy" video for entertainment, and the seniors left their "Last Will and Testaments" through fun gifts to the juniors. Pastor Matthew Hobbs of Burlington spoke to the students from Proverbs 4:23 on "Guarding Their Hearts."
