Faith Christian School’s Agriculture Club gives students the opportunity to take their learning beyond the classroom through hands-on experiences in agriculture, animal science, and the dairy industry. Students develop practical skills while building responsibility, confidence, teamwork, and leadership.

Through our dairy cattle program, students have the opportunity to work directly with cattle, learning proper animal care, feeding, grooming, handling, and showmanship. Students help care for animals housed at the school and prepare them for exhibition at local, district, and state agricultural shows. These experiences allow students to see firsthand the commitment and responsibility involved in caring for livestock.

Students can also participate in Dairy Quiz Bowl, where they put their knowledge of dairy cattle, milk production, animal science, and the dairy industry to the test through written exams and fast-paced buzzer competitions. Competitive opportunities allow students to challenge themselves and work toward advancing to higher levels of competition.

Our agriculture program is strengthened through relationships with agricultural organizations and community partners, including NC Cooperative Extension, 4-H, and NC State agricultural programs. These partnerships provide students with access to animals, agricultural professionals, educational opportunities, and real-world experiences.

Whether caring for cattle, preparing for a show, competing in Quiz Bowl, or learning alongside agricultural professionals, students are encouraged to be active participants in their education. The Agriculture Club provides a unique opportunity for students to explore agriculture while developing skills and character that extend far beyond the classroom.
