FCS implements small group reading instruction to all elementary students. The students are assessed on reading word accuracy and comprehension. Then, they are placed in the reading group to best meet their needs. The intent of the Guided Reading Program is for all (struggling, average, and avid) readers to reach their potential. Since 2021, our elementary classes have grown overall by 84%.

The Boys and Girls JV Teams participated in the Bank OZK JV Holiday Classic which was sponsored by the Randolph-Asheboro YMCA. The games were played at Southwest Randolph High School Gym from Tuesday, December 26 to Thursday, December 28. The JV Boys won all three of their games and walked away with the championship trophy.
