Summer Camps with Ms. Grubb
Whether cooking with students, exploring with science experiments or learning what it takes to show cows, Ms. Grubb keeps giving her time and knowledge to FCS students. Most of all, vacation time has been more fun and educational for students preparing for their dairy cow show as a part of the Randolph County Cooperative Extension.

Almost There
The last month of school often holds mile markers. Across grade levels the student body finished well with achievement tests, field trips, special days, music concerts and awards programs. They were ready for the nearly three months of summer break!

Graduation Day for Kindergarteners and Seniors
Praise the Lord for the privilege of graduating three kindergarten classes and launching 22 graduating seniors! Four seniors with tying GPAs shared the valedictorian title. The 5K grads sang, counted, and recited Scripture as part of their performance while seniors gave thanksgiving testimonies and gifts to their parents and class sponsors. The Lord graced FCS with students who accomplished great things for His glory!

A Trip Before Summer Break
Just one month out from the last day, middle school and high school students took educational trips. The ninth through eleventh grades toured the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum in Williamstown and Petersburg, Kentucky. The sixth through eighth graders took day trips to Raleigh and enjoyed the Science Museum, Capitol Building, Legislative Building, and to top it all off, The ParTee Shack for putt-putt golf, duck-pin bowling and the arcade.

School Year Faves
From August to May, students' minds are filled with academic data that grows them intellectually. However, it's the emotional experiences that they do not soon forget as they accumulate their personal scrapbook of unforgettable moments! From Fifth Grade DARE and Second Grade CARE graduations to FROG day in sixth grade, the 100th day celebration and the schoolwide Eagle Pride week, their is something for everyone to take in and cherish the memories.
