After over six months of praying, raising funds, gathering needed items, learning Spanish and preparing a ministry program, the Senior Class embarked upon their March mission trip to the Dominican Republic. The class visited churches, villages, a nursing home facility, handicapped children’s facility, a women’s and children’s rescue ministry and spent their days ministering to people. The Seniors gave testimony of God’s grace and empowerment as they gave the Gospel in music, drama, skits and even Gospel-telling gifts, like bracelets. Spending time playing with the children, helping them roller skate, handing out Gospel tracts and giving food to families, the group saw God powerfully work to encourage the people and change their own lives. Overall, the Senior Class came home impacted and desiring to serve the Lord in greater ways.
